Scantech was founded by geophysicists Tom Davitt and Dr. Orla Dardis in 2002 with initial support from Dublin City Enterprise Board. Now based in Mullingar we have been providing GPR and utility surveys to clients in Ireland and the UK for over 13 years. GPR is a geophysical surveying method and we are the only qualified and accredited Geophysicists in Ireland and the UK offering underground utility mapping surveys.
Each Scantech survey crew has an operator with at least 5 years experience in utility surveying using GPR and a degree level qualification in engineering, surveying or geophysics. Scantech has an impeccable safety record and all staff have the necessary training and certification for site work, traffic management and working in confined spaces.
